Good, true words. The pulpit or any part of the service shouldn't be highjacked for political shout-outs, but we as a church need to talk about these things with love and openness, not glorifying or condemning either candidate. The body of Christ is diverse.
I didn't know you had a blog and am so stoked to get to read it.

I think you're on the right track though I suggest you use more Scripture since that seems to be what you are basing your opinion on. To add to your thought, check out Provers 21:1
