Sunday morning (June 7th this year) is Trinity Sunday. On this day, every Anglican pastor is expected to give a sermon on the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. I will follow this tradition, as I have done in each year of my pastoral ministry.
The Trinity is an amazing and complex reality, a truth that transcends words even while it demands them. While I love Trinity Sunday, it always makes my head spin and my guts twist up. Tonight, as I work out my sermon, is no different. So, if you see this message in time, pray for me.

I'm sure it is a hard thing to preach about something we could never understand in this life. I hope your homily went well.
Great sermon, Colin and I plan on memorizing the Athanasian Creed, wish us luck :-)
The Doctrine of the Trinity is fascinating (to say the least) and today's sermon reminded me of the extravagant love of God.
