Anglican Way: Part One

Last night, I taught the first in a multi-part series on "The Anglican Way of Being Christian."  You can get the audio podcast of that teaching here: http://redeemernashville.libsyn.com/anglican-way-one-2011

You can also watch it below.  Enjoy.

If you are reading this as a note on facebook, may I recommend you visit www.ThomasMcKenzie.com for the full service version?

This was very interesting. I've heard whisperings of a "New Anglican" movement, which puts its focus more upon doctrine. Is this what you are a part of, and if not then do you know have information about it? I've always attended an FEC church (basically an Evangelical Bible Church), but I would sure like to be a part of a more liturgical, traditional church. Maybe you could help me out. Again, I enjoyed this; thanks for posting it.

Hey Eric. I'm not sure what a New Anglican would be, but it is possible someone could describe us in that way. You should check out both the Anglican Mission in the Americas www.theamia.org and the Anglican Church in North America www.acna.org.

Will Do, thanks.

Thanks for posting this interesting introduction to the Anglican way. I was surprised not to hear anything that clashed much with my tradition (Christian Reformed) but perhaps that is yet to come. :-)
